Hammond 195P10 30mH 10A Single-Coil Heavy Current Choke

The 195P10 is a single-coil heavy current chassis mount choke rated 30 mH at 10 A DC. It is aimed at power supply designers and equipment builders who need a DC filter inductor for a 10 A rail.

Construction is the 195 Series open core and coil with 4-slot bracket mounting. The winding resistance is listed at 0.17 ohms and the insulation is Class A. Series table dimensions are A 4.50 in (114 mm), B 5.25 in (133 mm), C 3.75 in (95 mm), D 3.75 in (95 mm) and E 3.50 in (89 mm), and the mounting slots G measure 0.20 x 0.38 in (5 x 10 mm).

Across the 195-196 Series, inductance and resistance are held to a 15% tolerance, inductance is measured at rated D.C. current, and connections are made to a screw terminal or heavy copper tabs with holes. The series is rated for operation from -40C to 85C and storage from -40C to 105C, with a recommended maximum operating voltage of 600 VAC winding to core. Chokes in the series are hipot tested at 2,500 VAC. The chokes are UL approved under Type 3AH, E207860, 30V7, and this part is listed as RoHS and REACH compliant.
