Hammond 194F 5H 120mA Choke for Marshall Mark II and 800 Amps

The 194F is a 5 H power supply choke for Marshall tube guitar amplifiers, rated for 120 ma. of D.C. current. The series table lists it for the later Mark II and 800 (50 and 100 Watt) models, not Plexis, and the manufacturer short description reads "CHOKE FOR MARSHALL JCM800". It is a drop in option for technicians servicing these amplifiers.

Inductance is 5 H with a +/-15% tolerance. For Plexi models the series lists the 194G (3 H at 250 ma.) instead, and the 194C (40 H at 50 ma.) covers the pre-amp supply of Plexi and JCM800 amplifiers, so confirm the choke position you are replacing.

Like every 194 Series choke, it was designed for drop in replacement of the original unit and physically designed to look similar to the original factory part where possible.
