Hammond 18S12 9.5" Terminal Strap, Fits 12" High Enclosure

The 18S12 is a 9.50 inch terminal strap for 1418 wallmount enclosures 12 inches high. Mounted on an 18TK bracket assembly, it provides a rail for terminal blocks, pneumatic controls or small relays, with 7.60 inches of usable mounting space along its length.

The strap is 1.5 inch wide by 0.187 inch thick steel, finished in white. Countersunk holes in the strap provide extra terminal mounting space, and each strap includes spring locking hardware for fastening to the brackets.

Straps are ordered separately from brackets. Choose the strap kit that corresponds to the enclosure dimension the strap will run along, and order the number of kits equal to the number of straps required. The 18S12 is RoHS and REACH compliant and is identified by UPC 623980362304.

When planning the layout, determine whether the strap will run parallel to enclosure dimension "A" or "B" and choose the part number that corresponds to that dimension; the 18S12 is the choice for a 12 inch side. The bracket kit's "C" channel keeps the strap aligned, and with the collar studs the assembly sits at least 3 inches off the enclosure rear.
