Hammond 187B10 6VA 10V C.T. 115VAC Chassis Mount Transformer

The 187B10 is a 6 VA open-style, chassis mount power transformer from the 187 Series with a single 115 VAC primary for 50/60 Hz supplies. The center-tapped secondary delivers 10V C.T. RMS at 0.6 A. It uses the B-size frame of the 186-187 range, a step up from the A frame in both rating and footprint. It is aimed at OEM engineers, technicians and equipment builders who need a small low voltage AC source mounted directly to a chassis.

Construction follows the 186-187 Series design: an economical open style, channel frame for chassis mounting, and split bobbin construction that eliminates the need for an electrostatic shield. Insulation material is Class B (130 C), and the design keeps temperature rise from exceeding Class A for longer life. Each unit is hi-pot tested to 2 KV RMS.
