The 182H18 is a 30 VA toroidal transformer with dual 18 V secondaries. Connected in series, they deliver 36 V center-tapped at .83 A; in parallel, 18 V at 1.66 A. The dual 117/234 VAC primary is rated for 50/60 Hz, making it a compact choice for preamp, analog and control supplies used on either mains voltage.
The manufacturer lists this part as REPLACE WITH 1182H18. The 182 Series is being discontinued as a stocked series, available while quantities last, and has been replaced with the 1182 Series.
The 182H18 is 2.95 in (75 mm) in outside diameter and 1.60 in (41 mm) high, with an open centre. It mounts with a single 10-24 bolt 2.00 in (51 mm) long through the centre, together with a top steel washer and top and bottom rubber washers. Two rubber insulating pads, one metal centering washer and all mounting hardware are included. The series table gives 1.12 lbs; shipping weight is 1.1 lbs (0.50 kg).
Flexible leads are at least 8 in long. Each unit is Hi-Pot tested at 4,000 V RMS between primary and secondary and is CSA certified to C22.2 #66 (file 209651), UL recognized to UL506 (file E207860) and CE certified to IEC950. RoHS and REACH compliant.
