The 182G12 is a 15 VA toroidal transformer with two 12 V secondaries. Connected in series they supply 24 V center-tapped at .63 A; in parallel, 12 V at 1.26 A. A dual 117/234 VAC primary rated for 50/60 Hz lets one part serve both common mains voltages, which is useful for small logic, relay and sensor supplies.
The part page lists REPLACE WITH 1182G12. The 182 Series is being discontinued as a stocked series, is available while quantities last, and is replaced by the 1182 Series.
The 182G12 uses the 2.70 in (69 mm) diameter, 1.25 in (32 mm) high frame with an open centre. It is mounted by an 8-32 centre bolt 1.50 in (38 mm) long, plus a top steel washer and top and bottom rubber washers; two rubber insulating pads, a metal centering washer and all mounting hardware are included. Weight is 0.76 lbs per the table and 0.8 lbs (0.36 kg) shipping.
The flexible leads are at least 8 in long. Testing includes a 4,000 V RMS Hi-Pot between primary and secondary, and the series is CSA certified to C22.2 #66 (file 209651), UL recognized to UL506 (file E207860) and CE certified to IEC950. RoHS and REACH compliant.
