Hammond 175G-NA 1500VA Plug-In Step-Down Autotransformer 230-115V

The Hammond 175G-NA is a 1500VA plug-in step-down autotransformer that converts 230VAC to 115VAC at 50 or 60 Hz. It is intended for electricians, integrators and facilities teams who need to run standard 115V North American equipment from a 230V supply, where the equipment is already isolated and only a voltage change is required.

This unit uses a single winding, so it does not provide isolation. The input is circuit breaker protected, and every unit is hi-pot tested to 2 KV RMS. The 175G-NA is the 1500VA model, the highest capacity listed in the 175 Series, with a larger 4.40 in / 5.39 in / 6.09 in body and a 22 lb weight.

On this "-NA" version the input is a 5 foot cord with a grounded North American 250V plug (NEMA 6-15P), a standard 3-wire grounded plug that can also be used with adaptors for proper grounding.
