Hammond 175E-NA 750VA Plug-In Step-Down Autotransformer, 230 to 115VAC

The 175E-NA is a 750VA plug-in step-down autotransformer that converts a 230VAC, 50/60 Hz supply to 115VAC. It is aimed at users running 115VAC North American equipment from 230VAC outlets in worldwide applications, where the equipment is already isolated and only a voltage change is required.

Because it uses a single winding, this autotransformer does not provide isolation, and it does not convert line frequency. The input is circuit breaker protected, and the unit is hi-pot tested to 2 KV RMS.
