Hammond 166E30 4.5VA 30V Center-Tapped Transformer, 150mA

The 166E30 converts a 115 V, 60 Hz single primary to 30 V C.T. at 0.15 A, for a 4.5 VA rating. It is a small chassis-mount option for 30 V class control and signal circuits in OEM equipment.

As a 166 Series part it uses an economical single-primary design, an open-style channel bracket for two-hole chassis mounting, and minimum 6 in long leads. The dual bobbin construction means no electrostatic shield is required. Windings use Class B insulation (130 degrees C) for extra protection, although the design is UL listed as a Class A (105 degrees C) design, and each unit is Hi-Pot tested at 2,000 V RMS. The 166E30 drawing shows black primary leads and green secondary leads with a green/yellow lead on the secondary side.

Overall size is 2.38 in (60.5 mm) by 1.38 in (35.1 mm) by 1.38 in (35.1 mm), with 2 in (50.8 mm) between mounting holes and 0.187 in (4.7 mm) holes. Its listed shipping weight is 0.33 lbs (0.15 kg).
