Hammond 164H20 20VA 20V C.T. Low Profile PCB Power Transformer

The 164H20 is a 20VA low voltage power transformer for printed circuit board mounting, built in a low profile, split bobbin format. It has an economical single 115V primary for 50/60 Hz operation and a dual-winding secondary that delivers 20V C.T. @ 1A when the windings are connected in series, or 10V @ 2.0A when they are connected in parallel. It suits OEM engineers and electronics designers who need a compact board-level AC source at 20V centre-tapped or 10V.

The two secondary windings are non-concentrically wound, which keeps primary-to-secondary coupling low so no electrostatic shield is required. The unit is designed so that all windings must be used.
