Hammond 164H12 20VA 12.6V C.T. Low Profile PCB Power Transformer

The 164H12 is a 20VA low voltage power transformer for printed circuit board mounting, built in a low profile, split bobbin format. It has an economical single 115V primary for 50/60 Hz operation and a dual-winding secondary that delivers 12.6V C.T. @ 1.6A when the windings are connected in series, or 6.3V @ 3.2A when they are connected in parallel. It suits OEM engineers and electronics designers who need a compact board-level AC source at 12.6V centre-tapped or 6.3V.

The two secondary windings are non-concentrically wound, which keeps primary-to-secondary coupling low so no electrostatic shield is required. The unit is designed so that all windings must be used.
