Hammond 164H10 20VA 10V C.T. Low Profile PCB Power Transformer

The 164H10 is a 20VA low voltage power transformer for printed circuit board mounting, built in a low profile, split bobbin format. It has an economical single 115V primary for 50/60 Hz operation and a dual-winding secondary that delivers 10V C.T. @ 2A when the windings are connected in series, or 5V @ 4.0A when they are connected in parallel. It suits OEM engineers and electronics designers who need a compact board-level AC source at 10V centre-tapped or 5V.

The two secondary windings are non-concentrically wound, which keeps primary-to-secondary coupling low so no electrostatic shield is required. The unit is designed so that all windings must be used.
