The 162E24 is a low voltage, low profile P.C. board mount power transformer from the 162-164 Series, aimed at OEM and circuit board designers who want one part that runs from either 115V or 230V. It is the universal dual primary (115/230V) version, rated 2.4 VA for 50/60 Hz operation; the single 115V primary equivalent is 164E24.
The drawing lists two 12V secondaries at 100 mA each, giving 24V centre-tapped at .1A in series or 12V at .2A in parallel. The drawing's no-load test lists 14.91V ±2% on each secondary (pins 5-6 and 7-8) at 115V, 60 Hz, and the units are designed so that all windings must be used.
