The 159V is a 1.5 henry filter choke rated for 500 mA DC and 500 VDC maximum operating voltage, for high voltage DC supplies feeding substantial loads.
With 27 ohms of DC resistance and a C14H frame, it handles twice the current of the 1.5H 158S while keeping the same inductance.
Electrically, the 159V is specified at 1.5H ±15% with its inductance measured at the rated 500 mA DC. DC resistance is 27 ohms ±15% and the maximum operating voltage is 500 VDC. As with every choke in the 153-159 Series, it will show less inductance at slightly higher currents and more inductance at lower currents, so size it to the actual load current.
