The 1597KIT4MCPIB is a compact DIN rail enclosure kit made for the Raspberry Pi B+ development board, part of the Italtronic 1597KIT Embedded DIN Rail Mounted Enclosures series. It suits OEM engineers, automation integrators and makers who want to put a Raspberry Pi B+ on a standard 35 mm DIN rail inside a control panel. Italtronic is an official Raspberry Pi Design Partner.
The enclosure is PC-ABS in RAL7035 light grey (UL94 V-2 per the part page), and the DIN clip is PPO. It assembles by snap-together construction and comes with pre-made cutouts for the development board components. The purchased enclosure includes the base, cover, screws and DIN clip; the Raspberry Pi B+ itself is not included.

Replacement #4 x 1/4" (6.4 mm) plated self-tapping PCB screws are 1593ATS50 (pack of 50) and 1593ATS100 (pack of 100), and the replacement DIN clip is 1597DINCLIPXT. Other Raspberry Pi B+ options in the series include 62 mm-deep Standard kits and rail box styles.
The 1597KIT4MCPIB is RoHS and REACH compliant. Hammond can factory modify it (milling, drilling, printing), and solid models are available in .stp or .x_t.
