Hammond 1597DINM22GY 22.5 mm Slim DIN Rail Control Box, Gray

The 1597DINM22GY is a slim DIN rail control box: 90 mm high, 22.5 mm wide and 118 mm deep per the series ordering table (the part page lists 3.54 in x 0.91 in x 4.65 in, or 90 mm x 23 mm x 118 mm). Its narrow, deep form suits controls engineers and OEMs packaging a vertical circuit board for standard symmetrical 35 mm DIN rail in industrial drives and controls, automation, HVAC or IoT systems.

Per the drawing, the purchased enclosure includes a base, cover, front panel and 2 side panels, and the enclosure is made from polycarbonate; the part page lists polycarbonate, PPE and PS. It is gray, carries a UL94 V-0 flame rating and an IP20 rating, and uses snap closures so no hardware is needed. Snap-in PCB clips accept a board of 104 x 77 x 1.5 mm (4.09 x 3.03 x 0.06 in).

The front clear cover is not included. It is sold separately as DINM22COVER, a polycarbonate clear cover listed in the ordering table as the only cover option for this control box; the closed, oval, vented and knockout module covers do not apply to the 1597DINM22GY.

The control box ships shrink wrapped at 0.12 lbs (0.05 kg), is REACH and RoHS compliant and carries UPC 623980524344. It can be factory modified by milling, drilling or printing, and solid models are available in .stp or .x_t. The manufacturer cautions that acetone, ketones, ethers, aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons, thread lockers, cutting fluid and strong solvents can damage its plastic enclosures.
