Hammond 1597DINCOV13GY 52 mm Vented Cover for 6 and 9 Module DIN Enclosures

The 1597DINCOV13GY is a vented, low-profile gray cover for the 6 module and 9 module DIN rail enclosures in its family. The series ordering table lists it as the vented cover for the 1597DIN6GY and 1597DIN9GY, letting builders of drives, controls and HVAC electronics add ventilation exactly where it is needed on a wide enclosure.

It measures 2.06 in x 0.64 in x 0.4 in (52 mm x 16 mm x 10 mm), with a 52.20 mm (2.06 in) length on the accessory drawing. The part page lists the material as polycarbonate, PPE and PS, colour gray, with a UL94 V-0 flame rating and an IP20 rating.

Covers are sold individually, one of 4 types. Fit the 1597DINCOV13GY over the cover spaces that need airflow and use 1597DINCOV11GY closed, 1597DINCOV12GY oval or 1597DINCOV14GY knockout covers elsewhere. The 1597DIN6GY has 4 cover spaces and the 1597DIN9GY has 6. The enclosures snap together with no hardware required.

The cover is shrink wrapped, REACH and RoHS compliant, UPC 623980318868. As with all plastic parts in the series, avoid acetone, ketones, ethers, aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons, thread lockers and strong solvents, which the manufacturer notes can damage the material.
