Hammond 1597DINCOV11GY 52 mm Closed Cover for 6 and 9 Module DIN Enclosures

The 1597DINCOV11GY is a closed, low-profile gray cover sized for the wider enclosures in its DIN rail family. The series ordering table lists it as the closed cover for the 1597DIN6GY 6 module and 1597DIN9GY 9 module enclosures. Panel builders use it to cap any cover space that does not need a display window, ventilation or cable entry.

At 2.06 in x 0.64 in x 0.4 in (52 mm x 16 mm x 10 mm), it is longer than the 35 mm covers used on the 2 and 4 module sizes; the accessory drawing shows a 52.20 mm (2.06 in) length. The part page lists polycarbonate, PPE and PS as the material, in gray, with a UL94 V-0 flame rating and an IP20 rating. Shipping weight is 0.01 lbs (0.00 kg).

Covers are sold individually. The 1597DIN6GY has 4 cover spaces and the 1597DIN9GY has 6, and each space can take the 1597DINCOV11GY closed cover or one of its companions: 1597DINCOV12GY oval, 1597DINCOV13GY vented or 1597DINCOV14GY knockout. The enclosures assemble with snap closures and no hardware.
