Hammond 1597D3MPRTPC DIN 3 Clear Top Cover With Inlay, PC

The 1597D3MPRTPC is a clear Italtronic top cover with inlay for DIN 3 enclosures in the 1597DM Series. Its short description reads "D3 TOP PNL INLAY CLEAR, CLIPS", so it is the transparent version of the clip-in inlay top panel. A clear top keeps the contents of the enclosure visible.

Unlike the gray DIN 3 covers, it is made from PC (polycarbonate) with a UL94 V-2 flame rating, as the series specifies for clear accessories. The cover measures 1.93 in x 1.65 in x 0.11 in (49 mm x 42 mm x 3 mm) and ships at 0.01 lbs (0.00 kg). It is RoHS and REACH compliant.

The DIN 3 drawing shows this cover with the grey Module 3 enclosure 1597DIN3MH53 and marks the top cover as not included with the enclosure, which comes with base, cover and DIN clip in PPO. Gray alternatives are 1597D3MPH (flat) and 1597D3MPRH (with inlay). Hammond notes that some accessories are not compatible with all enclosures in a DIN size group; check the enclosure drawing.
