Hammond 1597D3MPRH DIN 3 Top Cover With Inlay, Gray PC-ABS

The 1597D3MPRH is a gray Italtronic top cover with inlay for DIN 3 enclosures in the 1597DM Series. Its short description, "D3 TOP PANEL INLAY, CLIPS", marks it as the inlay style of clip-in top panel, the alternative to the flat 1597D3MPH. It is drawn with the grey Module 3 enclosure 1597DIN3MH53, whose drawing marks the top cover as not included, so it is ordered separately.

Made from PC-ABS with a UL94 V-0 flame rating, the cover measures 1.93 in x 1.65 in x 0.11 in (49 mm x 42 mm x 3 mm), 1 mm taller than the flat version. Shipping weight is 0.01 lbs (0.00 kg), and it is RoHS and REACH compliant.

A clear inlay version, 1597D3MPRTPC, is also available for DIN 3 when you need to see indicators inside the enclosure. The enclosure itself ships with base, cover and DIN clip in PPO. Hammond notes that some accessories are not compatible with every enclosure in a DIN size group; confirm fit against the enclosure drawing.

The 1597D3MPRH is suited to DIN rail housings for printed circuit boards, terminal blocks and other rail-mounted electronics used by integrators, electricians and OEM engineers. Some chemicals can damage or weaken plastic, so check the manufacturer's Chemical Resistance Statement before using solvents, thread-locking compounds or cutting fluids near the part.
