Choose resins and cleaners with the plastic in mind. The manufacturer lists acetone, ketones, ethers, aromatic and chlorinated hydrocarbons, thread locking compounds, cutting or tapping fluid, strong solvents and some greases and oils as substances that can damage its plastic enclosures. If you drill cable entries into a 1596B114-5 box, clear the chips with an air blast.
