The 1594DBK is the standard black version of the D size in the 1594 Heavy Duty ABS Enclosures series: a rugged electronic instrument enclosure ideally suited for mounting printed circuit boards. It fits OEM engineers, panel builders and integrators who want a durable housing with a machine-screw lid for a mid-size board.
Standard versions are molded in flame retardant ABS plastic that carries a UL94 V-0 flame rating. The heavy duty thick-wall design has a series average wall thickness of 0.13 in (3.3 mm), and the black matte textured finish corresponds to RAL 9011 on the drawing. The lid is secured with four M3 x 0.5 - 0.71 in (18 mm) long Phillips machine screws threaded into integral brass bushings.
