The 1593VTBU is the transparent blue version of the 1593V instrument enclosure, 4.13 x 2.36 x 1.38 in (105 x 60 x 35 mm). The translucent satin-texture ABS lets indicator lights show through, while the IP54 rating and absence of a battery door suit sealed-style PCB housings.
It has two removable end panels for front and rear access and a recessed top (92.00 x 51.00 mm inlay) for a membrane display. The shell is UL94 HB general purpose ABS secured with self-tapping screws; transparent blue enclosures include black finish screws.
The part page lists a maximum PC board of 98 x 48 mm, and the drawing gives 29.70 mm inside height and 48.67 mm inside length. Internal bosses accept #4 self-tapping screws. Supplied with top and bottom cover, 2 flat panels and 2 cover screws, shrink wrapped at 0.12 lbs (0.05 kg).
Recommended torque is 40 cN-m [57 ozf-in] for cover screws and 20-30 cN-m [29-42 ozf-in] for internal mounting screws. PC board screws are #4 x 1/4" self-tapping (1593ATS50 or 1593ATS100), and a nylon belt clip (1599CLIP black, 1599CLIPGY grey) is listed as an accessory.
The 1593VTBU is RoHS and REACH compliant. Translucent blue replacement panels are 1593VLTBU-10; aluminum end panels are 1593VAL10. Solid models are available in .stp or .x_t, and the enclosure can be factory modified (milling, drilling, printing etc.).
