The 1593VBK is a black ABS instrument enclosure measuring 4.13 x 2.36 x 1.38 in (105 x 60 x 35 mm). Unlike the battery-door models in the 1593 Series, it has no battery door and two removable end panels, and it carries an IP54 rating, suiting sensor housings, interface modules and small control units.
The case is molded from general purpose ABS rated UL94 HB with a satin texture and is secured with self-tapping screws; black enclosures include black finish screws. The recessed top provides a 92.00 x 51.00 mm inlay for a membrane display or pad.
The part page lists a maximum P.C. board of 98 mm length by 48 mm width. The drawing shows an inside height of 29.70 mm and inside length of 48.67 mm, and internal bosses accept #4 self-tapping screws. Recommended torque is 40 cN-m for cover screws and 20-30 cN-m for internal mounting screws.
