The 1593VGY is a light gray general purpose ABS instrument enclosure, 105 x 60 x 35 mm (4.13 x 2.36 x 1.38 in), for printed circuit board assemblies that need panel access at both ends. It has no battery door and is IP54 rated, making it a tidy housing for interface boxes, sensor nodes and control electronics.
Two removable end panels, one front and one rear, can be drilled for connectors, while a recessed top (92.00 x 51.00 mm inlay) takes a membrane display or pad. The satin-texture shell is UL94 HB and is secured by self-tapping screws; grey enclosures include nickel finish screws.
PC boards up to 98 x 48 mm are recommended, fixed with #4 self-tapping screws at 20-30 cN-m. The drawing shows 29.70 mm inside height and 48.67 mm inside length. The 1593VGY ships shrink wrapped at 0.12 lbs (0.05 kg) with top and bottom cover, 2 flat panels and 2 cover screws.
It is RoHS and REACH compliant. Grey replacement flat panels are 1593VLGY-10, and 1593VAL10 aluminum end panels also fit. Replacement cover screws are #4 x 3/4" self-tapping (1593QS100 silver or 1593QS100BK black), and the case can be factory modified (milling, drilling, printing etc.).
