The 1593PTBU is the transparent blue version of the 1593P hand-held instrument enclosure. Molded in general purpose ABS with a satin texture, the translucent shell lets indicators and internal electronics show through while the ergonomic profile sits comfortably in the hand, making it a fit for prototypes, demonstration units and portable devices.
The case closes with self-tapping screws; transparent blue enclosures come with black finish screws. An integrated battery compartment uses a "three snap" door designed for long life, and one end panel is removable for connectors or controls. A recessed top (inlay 80.00 x 55.00 mm, 1.00 mm deep) takes a membrane display or pad.
The listed size is 3.6 x 2.6 x 1.1 in (91 x 66 x 28 mm), with 92 x 67 x 28 mm given in the series table. Usable inside space per the drawing is 49.86 mm long, 60.89 mm wide and 21.80 mm high, and boards up to 48.89 x 59.73 mm are recommended. PC boards mount with #4 self-tapping screws at 20-30 cN-m; cover screws take 40 cN-m.
Each 1593PTBU ships shrink wrapped at 0.13 lbs (0.06 kg) with top and bottom cover, 1 flat front panel, battery door and 4 cover screws. It carries a UL94 HB flame rating and is RoHS and REACH compliant.
