The 1593QGY is a light gray, general purpose ABS instrument enclosure from the 1593 Series, sized at 4.4 x 2.6 x 1.1 in (112 x 66 x 28 mm). Its ergonomic hand-held profile and built-in battery compartment make it a practical housing for portable test equipment, controllers and other PCB-based products.
Gray enclosures in this series ship with nickel finish self-tapping screws. The battery compartment closes with a "three snap" door designed for long life, and one removable end panel can be machined for jacks or switches. The recessed top, a 100.00 x 55.00 mm inlay, accepts a membrane display or pad.
Inside dimensions per the drawing are 69.93 mm length, 60.79 mm width and 21.70 mm height. The part page lists a maximum P.C. board of 59.14 mm length by 68.12 mm width, and internal bosses accept #4 self-tapping screws at 20-30 cN-m.
