The 1593PPCB is a prototyping printed circuit board designed to fit the 1593P hand-held enclosure with battery compartment. It lets engineers and hobbyists build a circuit that drops straight into the case: the four mounting holes are in the right spots, so no cutting is required.
The board is high-quality FR4 glass epoxy, single sided with 1 oz/ft2 copper. Holes of 0.042 in are drilled on 0.1 in centers in a 2-hole strip pattern that makes it easy to connect parts while maximizing usable board area. The lead-free etched copper has an anti-tarnish coating for easy soldering.
The board size is 1.9 x 2.4 in (49 x 60 mm); the part page lists 2.35 x 1.93 x 0.06 in (60 x 49 x 2 mm). It has four 0.125 in (1/8 in) mounting holes, and four 4-40 PCB mounting screws are provided.
The enclosure is sold separately: order 1593PBK (black), 1593PGY (gray) or 1593PTBU (translucent blue). The 1593PPCB is RoHS and REACH compliant, shrink wrapped, with a shipping weight of 0.04 lbs (0.02 kg).
Inside the 1593P, internal bosses accept #4 self-tapping screws; the recommended torque for internal mounting screws is 20-30 cN-m [29-42 ozf-in].
