Hammond 1593QALGY 112mm Light Gray ABS Handheld Case, Battery Door

The 1593QALGY is a light gray 1593Q handheld instrument enclosure with a battery compartment, from the 1593AL series of ABS plastic cases with aluminum end panels. Its 112 mm length makes room for both a printed circuit board and a battery bay in portable test instruments, meters and hand-held controllers.

Batteries are reached through the long life "three snap" battery door. A single removable flat aluminum panel, 1.63 mm thick, closes the front. The purchased assembly includes top and bottom covers, 1 aluminum panel, the battery door and 4 cover screws, supplied in a nickel finish finish for this colour; the recommended torque is 57 lbf-in (40 cN-m). Molded from satin-textured general purpose ABS rated UL94 HB, the 1593QALGY is RoHS and REACH compliant and ships shrink wrapped at 0.16 lbs (0.07 kg).
