The 1593HAMPITBK is a black plastic enclosure with a touch screen mount for the Raspberry Pi Model B+, Pi 2 Model B, Pi 3 Model B and Pi 3 Model B+. It is intended for developers and integrators building a compact Pi-based touch interface around the 4DPI-24-HAT touch screen.
Molded in general purpose ABS with a satin texture and rated UL94 HB, it measures 3.88 in x 2.93 in with an assembled depth of 1.22 in (99 mm x 74 mm x 31 mm). The top has an opening for the touch screen and touch screen buttons. Openings in the case give access to micro USB power, HDMI, Ethernet, USB, GPIO headers, audio and the micro SD card, with separate LED holes for the Pi 2 and Pi 3.
The cover screw posts accept an M2.6 x 20 mm self-tapping screw, and optional board posts accept an M2 x 4 mm self-tapping screw. When installing the screen, line up the rubber spacer with the HDMI back; two optional M2 screws can secure it at a recommended 15-20 cN-m (21-28 ozf-in) - do not over tighten.
The 1593HAMPITBK ships with the top and bottom, 6 screws, 4 self-adhesive rubber feet, a rubber spacer and an instruction sheet. The Raspberry Pi and the touch screen are not included. It is RoHS and REACH compliant and ships shrink wrapped at 0.12 lbs (0.05 kg). The manufacturer notes this series will soon be discontinued as a stocked series and is available while quantities last.
