Hammond 1593HAMARBK Black Arduino Uno, Leonardo & Yun Enclosure

The 1593HAMARBK is a black ABS plastic enclosure for Uno-size Arduino boards, listed as compatible with the Leonardo, M0 Pro, Uno and Yun. It gives makers, educators and product developers a finished case with openings that allow access to the board's I/O connectors, often used controls and LEDs, and the panel set lets one case serve several of these boards.

The case measures 2.95 in x 2.81 in x 1.06 in (75 mm x 71 mm x 27 mm); the drawing shows 76.00 mm [2.99 in] x 73.97 mm [2.91 in] x 27.00 mm [1.06 in] overall, with 67.01 mm [2.64 in] of inside length, 67.89 mm [2.67 in] of inside width and 22.00 mm [0.87 in] of inside height. It is molded in general purpose ABS with a satin texture and a UL94 HB flame rating, and is RoHS and REACH compliant.

The purchased assembly includes top and bottom cover, 3 front panels (works with Arduino Yun, Uno, Leonardo/M0 Pro), 2 rear panels (one blank and one that works with the Yun micro SD card), 2 cover screws, 2 screws to secure the Arduino board and 4 rubber feet; an instruction sheet is also included. Arduino boards are not included. End panels can be swapped out to accommodate the Leonardo, Yun, Uno and M0 Pro. An Arduino 101 panel is not included and is sold separately.

The cover is secured with #4 self tapping screws (recommended torque 57 lbf-in / 40 cN-m) and the board with M2.6 self-tapping screws. Replacement parts include 1591TS100 or 1591TS100BK (black) cover screws (#4 x 1/2", pack of 100), SC519-50 board screws (M2.6 x 6 mm, pack of 50) and 1421T6CL clear rubber feet (pack of 24). The same body without cutouts is available in the 1593 series as the 1593AR. It ships shrink wrapped and can be factory modified by milling, drilling or printing.
