Hammond 1593HAMAR3TBU Translucent Blue Arduino Mega 2560 & Due Enclosure

The 1593HAMAR3TBU is a translucent blue ABS plastic enclosure sized for the larger Arduino form factor, listed as compatible with the Arduino Due and Mega 2560. Makers, educators and OEM engineers use it to put a Mega-size board into a finished case with openings that allow access to the I/O connectors and often used controls and LEDs.

Measuring 4.72 in x 3.74 in x 1.06 in (120 mm x 95 mm x 27 mm), it offers 111.52 mm [4.39 in] of inside length, 89.49 mm [3.52 in] of inside width and 20.75 mm [0.82 in] of inside height. The bottom has a 25 x 25 x 0.5 mm inlay. The body is molded in general purpose ABS with a satin texture and carries a UL94 HB flame rating.

The purchased assembly includes top and bottom cover, 2 front panels (works with Arduino Due, Mega ADK, Mega 2560), 4 cover screws and 2 screws to secure the Arduino board; the series adds four self adhesive rubber feet and an instruction sheet. Arduino boards are not included. End panels can be swapped out to accommodate the Mega 2560, Due or Mega ADK, and the drawing notes it will also work with the Uno, 101, Zero, Leonardo and other similar Arduino copies. For the Mega ADK, cut the tabs off the panel.

The board mounts with M2.6 self-tapping screws (SC519-50, M2.6 x 6 mm, pack of 50), and the recommended cover screw torque is 43-50 ozf-in (30-35 cN-m). Replacement cover screws (M3-0.5 x 18 mm, pack of 100) are 1594MS100 (silver) or 1594MS100BK (black). Single replacement end panels are 1593ARL8TBU-B for Due and 1593ARL9TBU-B for Mega. The same enclosure without cutouts is available in the 1599TAB series (size "S"). It is RoHS and REACH compliant, ships shrink wrapped, and can be factory modified by milling, drilling or printing.
