The 1591XXBTBU is the transparent blue version of the 114 x 63 x 31 mm (nominal) 1591XXB enclosure. The see-through blue body lets the board inside be seen while it sits on integral standoffs in the box or lid, and the enclosure is designed for mounting printed circuit boards horizontally.
Transparent blue enclosures in this series are molded from general purpose plastic that is not flame retardant; the part data lists ABS plastic with a UL94 HB flame rating. Internal sides are smooth for easy connector installation. PC board mounting bosses inside the box and lid are sized for #4 x 1/4" self-tapping screws, which are not included; PC board screws are available as 1593ATS50 or 1593ATS100.
The lid fastens with M3-0.5 x 10 mm Phillips machine screws threaded into brass screw inserts, a construction suited to repeated assembly and disassembly, and transparent blue enclosures include black screws. The enclosure provides protection against dust and splashing water and is designed to meet IP54.
For the 1591XXB body the drawing shows 113.82 x 63.32 x 31.00 mm overall, an interior of 108.15 x 57.65 x 27.00 mm and a maximum PCB size of 108.00 x 57.50 mm. The 1591XXBTBU is RoHS and REACH compliant, ships in shrink wrap at 0.14 lbs (0.06 kg), and can be fitted with the separately sold 1591FBBK or 1591FBGY flange.
