The 1591TFLGY is the light gray, flame retardant member of the 1591 Series in the 120 x 80 x 59 mm (4.72 x 3.16 x 2.32 in) size, fitted with a lid that has wall mounting flanges molded into it. It suits electrical and OEM installers who want a neutral gray housing that fixes directly to a wall or panel.
Molded from easy-to-machine flame retardant ABS rated UL94 V-0, the enclosure has card guides in all side walls for 1.5 mm (0.062") circuit boards mounted vertically. Its lap joint keeps out dust and splashing water and the design meets IP54. M3 x 10 mm Phillips machine screws thread into pre-installed brass inserts to hold the lid, and light gray enclosures include nickel finish screws.
