The 1591TFLBK is a black 120 x 80 x 59 mm (4.72 x 3.16 x 2.32 in) enclosure from the 1591 Series, supplied with wall mounting flanges molded into the lid. It is the standard flame retardant version, aimed at designers who need a compact, wall-mountable housing for vertically mounted circuit boards.
The box is molded from easy-to-machine flame retardant ABS carrying a UL94 V-0 rating. Card guides molded into all side walls accept 1.5 mm (0.062") PCBs, and lap joint construction protects against dust and splashing water; the enclosure is designed to meet IP54. The lid is secured with M3 x 10 mm Phillips machine screws threaded into pre-installed brass inserts, well suited to repeated assembly and disassembly. Black enclosures include black screws.
With the flanged lid, the drawing shows 145.58 mm [5.731 in] overall length and 134.00 mm [5.276 in] flange hole centres. Inside dimensions are 113.54 x 73.74 x 54.80 mm. The lid also accepts #4 self-tapping screws, with 1593ATS50/1593ATS100 PC board screws listed for lid mounting. Recommended cover screw torque is 35.5–42.5 ozf.in (25–30 cN.m).
