The 1591HSGY is a light gray general purpose ABS enclosure, the economy counterpart to the 1591HGY. It measures 6.52 x 2.79 x 1.14 in (166 x 71 x 29 mm) and serves builders who want the 1591 card-guide format at a general purpose material grade.
General purpose economy versions are not flame retardant, and this part carries a UL94 HB flame rating. Its lap joint construction still guards against dust and splashing water, with an IP54 rating. The lid is assembled with #4 self-tapping screws into fully plastic posts, and light gray enclosures include standard nickel finish screws.
For board mounting, card guides are molded into all side walls and take 1.5 mm (0.062") thick PCBs vertically. Inside space measures 159.70 x 64.80 x 25.00 mm [6.287 x 2.551 x .984 in]; the guides are 20.00 mm [.788 in] tall with a 2.00 mm [.079 in] slot. The 1591Z card adaptors are available for horizontal board mounting.
