The 1591HFLBK is a black flame retardant ABS enclosure whose lid has wall mounting flanges molded into it. The 6.52 x 2.79 x 1.14 in (166 x 71 x 29 mm) box is suited to integrators who want to fix the lid to a wall or panel and hang the body from it.
The 1591HFL drawing shows an overall length across the lid flanges of 190.90 mm [7.516 in] and an overall height of 28.80 mm [1.134 in]. Inside dimensions are 159.70 x 64.80 x 25.00 mm [6.287 x 2.551 x .984 in]. Bosses inside the lid accept #4 self-tapping screws, with optional #4 x 1/4" (6.4 mm) PC board screws for the lid sold as 1593ATS50 and 1593ATS100.
It is molded from flame retardant ABS with a UL94 V-0 rating, is IP54 rated, and uses lap joint construction to keep out dust and splashing water. Card guides in all side walls accept 1.5 mm (0.062") boards vertically.
The 1591HFLBK includes box, lid, 6 cover screws and pre-installed brass inserts for M3 - 0.5 machine screws; tighten to 35.5-42.5 ozf.in (25-30 cN.m). Black enclosures include black screws. It is RoHS and REACH compliant, weighs 0.23 lbs (0.10 kg) and ships in shrink wrap.
