Hammond 1591FUGY Light Gray Mounting Flange for 1591U/V Enclosures

The 1591FUGY is a light gray plastic flange that lets you mount a 1591U, 1591US, 1591V or 1591VS enclosure to a wall or shelf. It suits designers and installers using the gray versions of these small enclosures who want a matching external mounting base.

It is molded from ABS plastic in light gray with a satin texture finish. The part page for this gray version lists a UL94-HB flame rating and an IP54 rating, and the part is RoHS and REACH compliant. Each part number includes one flange, shrink wrapped, with a shipping weight of 0.1 lbs (0.05 kg).

The flange measures 5.72 in (145 mm) long by 4.59 in (117 mm) wide. You fix it to the enclosure with standard ABS cement (not included); the flange ends are raised on one side so the enclosure sits in position while the joint is made.

Once attached, the flange can be screwed down through its four molded countersunk holes, or the unit can be strapped or hung using the oval hole on each side with tie wraps. A black version, 1591FUBK, is available for the same enclosure sizes. Choose 1591FUGY when a light gray finish is required.
