The 1591FTBK is a black bottom flange for 1591T and 1591TS enclosures, providing wall or shelf mounting for these boxes. It is intended for electronics builders, OEM engineers and installers who need to surface-mount a small plastic enclosure cleanly. Compatible enclosure sizes are 1591T and 1591TS.
It is molded from fire retardant ABS plastic with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating and a satin texture finish. The flange measures 5.78 in (147 mm) long by 3.02 in (77 mm) wide, and its part page lists a size of 5.79 in x 3.16 in x 0.12 in (147 mm x 80 mm x 3 mm). One flange is included.
The enclosure is glued to the flange with standard ABS cement, which is not included. The flange ends are raised on one side so the enclosure can be positioned easily while it is being glued. Once assembled, the unit is fixed through four molded countersunk holes, or strapped or hung with tie wraps through the oval hole in each side of the flange.
