The 1591FHBK is a long, narrow black flange made for 1591H and 1591HS enclosures that need to be fixed to a wall or shelf. It is intended for electronics builders, OEM engineers and installers who need to surface-mount a small plastic enclosure cleanly. Compatible enclosure sizes are 1591H and 1591HS.
It is molded from fire retardant ABS plastic with a UL94 V-0 flammability rating and a satin texture finish. The flange measures 7.51 in (191 mm) long by 2.64 in (67 mm) wide. The part lists an IP54 rating. One flange is included.
The enclosure is glued to the flange with standard ABS cement, which is not included. The flange ends are raised on one side so the enclosure can be positioned easily while it is being glued. Once assembled, the unit is fixed through four molded countersunk holes, or strapped or hung with tie wraps through the oval hole in each side of the flange.
