The 1590ZGRP244BK combines the 400 x 250 mm footprint with a deep 65 mm lid for a 160 mm assembled depth, giving extra room above the mounting surface for tall components in a watertight, thick wall housing. It is molded from black glass reinforced polyester with a smooth finish.
The enclosure body is 96 mm deep. Per the drawing, inside dimensions are about 386.45 mm long, 236.36 mm wide and 148.70 mm high. The molded-in internal shelf accepts a PC board up to 382 x 232 mm or the 1590ZGRP243PL galvanized steel inner panel, sold separately, with M6 screws.
Its lid is gasketed with silicone sponge in two piece tongue and groove construction, with self-captivated stainless steel screws. Four cover screws are included; recommended torque is 13.3-17.7 lbf.in (150-200 cN.m). Because of the deep lid, replacement screws are SC571-12 (12 pack, M6 - 1.0 x 70 mm). Wall mounting holes sit outside the gasket channel.
The part is IP66 rated, NEMA 1, 4, 4X, 12 & 13 rated, certified to NEMA 4, 4X per UL 508A, cUL & UL listed under file E65324, UL94 V-0 flame rated and IK09 impact rated per IEC 62208 and IEC 62262. Recommended operating temperature is -40°C to +100°C; shipping weight is 10.15 lbs (4.60 kg).
