The 1590ZGRP243BK is a 400 x 250 mm watertight enclosure with a 120 mm assembled depth, aimed at panel builders and OEM engineers housing large PC boards or inner-panel assemblies in a sealed, thick wall box. It is molded from black glass reinforced polyester with a smooth finish.
The 95 mm enclosure body pairs with a 25 mm lid. The drawing lists inside dimensions of about 386.45 mm long, 236.36 mm wide and 109.20 mm high. The molded-in internal shelf accepts a PC board up to 382 x 232 mm or the 1590ZGRP243PL galvanized steel inner panel, sold separately, using M6x1 screws.
A gasketed lid with two piece tongue and groove construction and a silicone sponge gasket closes with four self-captivated stainless steel screws, included. Recommended cover screw torque is 13.3-17.7 lbf.in (150-200 cN.m). Spare lid screws are SC570-20 (M6 x 30 mm) and copper ground hardware is SCGM6GRP-20. Wall mounting through holes are outside the gasket channel.
Ratings: IP66; NEMA 1, 4, 4X, 12 & 13; certified to NEMA 4, 4X per UL 508A; cUL & UL listed under file E65324; UL94 V-0; IK09 impact per IEC 62208 and IEC 62262; recommended operating temperature -40°C to +100°C. Shipping weight is 8 lbs (3.63 kg).
