The 1590ZGRP234BK is a nearly square 255 x 250 mm enclosure with a 121 mm assembled depth, sized for larger PC boards or inner-panel assemblies that need a sealed, impact-resistant housing. It is molded from black glass reinforced polyester with a heavy duty thick wall and smooth finish.
The 96 mm enclosure body pairs with a 25 mm lid. Inside, the drawing gives roughly 241.66 mm of length, 236.37 mm of width and 108.80 mm of height. The molded internal shelf holds a PC board up to 238 x 232 mm or the 1590ZGRP234PL galvanized steel inner panel, sold separately, secured with M6x1 screws.
The two piece tongue and groove lid uses a silicone sponge gasket and self-captivated stainless steel screws; four cover screws come with the box, and the recommended torque is 13.3-17.7 lbf.in (150-200 cN.m). Wall mounting through holes sit outside the gasket channel, and the 1427HKBK hinge kit is offered as an option.
Protection and compliance: IP66; NEMA 1, 4, 4X, 12 & 13; certified to NEMA 4, 4X per UL 508A; cUL & UL listed under file E65324; UL94 V-0; IK09 per IEC 62208 and IEC 62262; recommended operating temperature -40°C to +100°C; RoHS and REACH compliant. Shipping weight is 5.95 lbs (2.70 kg).
