The 1590ZGRP233PL is the steel inner mounting panel for the 1590ZGRP233 enclosure (250 x 200 x 120 mm). It turns the glass reinforced polyester box into a panel-mount enclosure, giving a flat metal plate for boards, components and grounding.
The panel is 9.21 x 7.24 x 0.06 in (234 x 184 mm). Per the drawing it is 16 gauge galvanized steel, 1.61 mm [.06 in] thick, with 1.00 x 45.0° chamfered corners. It fastens to the molded-in bonding/mounting nuts on the enclosure's internal shelf, inside a box with a 95 mm deep base and 25 mm deep lid.
Panel mounting screws and washers are included. Additional screws are SCGM6GRP-20 copper ground hardware (20 pack, M6 - 1.0 x 6mm with M6 washers); the drawing lists the SCGM6GRP copper plated M6-1.0 x 6mm mounting screw.
Hammond specifies a recommended panel screw torque of 45-50 cN-m [65-70 ozf-in]. The 1590ZGRP233PL is RoHS and REACH compliant, ships shrink wrapped at 1.12 lbs (0.51 kg). The drawing notes that factory modification (milling, drilling, printing etc.) is available and that solid models can be had in .stp or .x_t format. It is associated with UL file E65324.
