Hammond 1590ZGRP163BK 360x160x91mm Long NEMA 4X Fiberglass Enclosure

At 360 mm long and 160 mm wide, the 1590ZGRP163BK is the longest 160 mm-wide box in the 1590ZGRPBK line, suited to long PC boards or long inner-panel assemblies in a watertight, thick wall housing. It is molded from black glass reinforced polyester with a smooth finish.

The ordering table gives 360 x 160 mm with a 91 mm assembled depth (72 mm body, 20 mm lid); the part page lists 361 x 160 x 90 mm. Inside, the drawing shows roughly 347.77 mm of length, 145.89 mm of width and 78.50 mm of height. The molded-in shelf takes a PC board up to 344 x 144 mm or the optional 1590ZGRP163PL galvanized steel inner panel.

The lid seals through two piece tongue and groove construction and a silicone sponge gasket, and its stainless steel screws are self-captivated. Four cover screws are included; tighten to 13.3-17.7 lbf.in (150-200 cN.m). Spare screws come as SC570-20 (M6 x 30 mm) and ground hardware as SCGM6GRP-20.

Ratings include IP66, NEMA 1, 4, 4X, 12 & 13 and certification to NEMA 4, 4X per UL 508A, with cUL & UL listing (file E65324), UL94 V-0 flame rating and IK09 impact per IEC 62208 and IEC 62262. The recommended operating temperature is -40°C to +100°C, and shipping weight is 4.9 lbs (2.22 kg).
