Hammond 1590ZGRP162BK 261x160x90mm Watertight Fiberglass NEMA 4X Box

The 1590ZGRP162BK extends the 160 mm-wide profile to 261 mm in length, giving room for a larger PC board or an inner-panel assembly inside a sealed, thick wall housing. It is molded from black glass reinforced polyester with a smooth finish.

The ordering table lists 261 mm long, 160 mm wide and 90 mm assembled depth, with a 70 mm box and 20 mm lid; the part page gives 260 x 160 x 90 mm. Inside, the drawing shows about 246.44 mm of length, 146.66 mm of width and 78.30 mm of height. The molded internal shelf accepts a PC board up to 243 x 143 mm, or the 1590ZGRP162PL steel inner panel (sold separately), fixed with M6x1 screws.

Closure is a gasketed, two piece tongue and groove lid with a silicone sponge gasket and self-captivated stainless steel screws. The assembly ships with four cover screws; the recommended torque is 13.3-17.7 lbf.in (150-200 cN.m). Wall mounting uses through holes outside the gasket channel.

It carries IP66 and NEMA 1, 4, 4X, 12 & 13 ratings, is certified to NEMA 4, 4X per UL 508A, is cUL & UL listed under file E65324, and has a UL94 V-0 flame rating and an IK09 impact rating per IEC 62208 and IEC 62262. Recommended operating temperature is -40°C to +100°C.
