Hammond 1590ZGRP131BK 191x75x57mm Narrow NEMA 4X Fiberglass Enclosure

Long and narrow, the 1590ZGRP131BK is built for elongated circuit boards and inline assemblies that need a sealed, rugged housing without much width. It is a watertight, thick wall enclosure molded from black glass reinforced polyester with a smooth finish.

The ordering table lists it at 191 mm long, 75 mm wide and 57 mm assembled depth (42 mm body, 16 mm lid); the part page gives 190 x 75 x 55 mm. Inside, the drawing shows about 180.81 mm of length, 65.21 mm of width and 46.50 mm of height. The molded-in internal shelf accepts a PC board up to 178.5 x 63 mm or the optional 1590ZGRP131PL steel inner panel, and takes M4x0.7 screws.

A gasketed lid with two piece tongue and groove construction and a silicone sponge gasket closes with four self-captivated stainless steel screws, included with the box. The recommended cover screw torque is 8.8-13.3 lbf.in (100-150 cN.m). Spare lid screws are SC583-50 (M4 x 25 mm, 50 pack) and ground hardware is SCGM4-50.

It is rated IP66 and NEMA 1, 4, 4X, 12 & 13, certified to NEMA 4 and 4X per UL 508A, cUL & UL listed under file E65324, UL94 V-0 flame rated and IK09 impact rated per IEC 62208 and IEC 62262. Recommended operating temperature is -40°C to +100°C (-40°F to +212°F). Wall mounting holes sit outside the gasket channel.
