Hammond 1590ZGRP123 220x120x90 mm Fiberglass Watertight Enclosure

The 1590ZGRP123 is a 220 mm x 120 mm x 90 mm (8.66 in x 4.72 in x 3.56 in) gray fiberglass enclosure, the long version of the 120 mm wide 1590ZGRP body. Its length suits longer circuit boards, terminal rows and control assemblies that electricians and OEMs need to protect in wet, dusty or corrosive locations.

The ordering table lists an assembled depth of 91 mm (3.58 in), with a 66 mm (2.60 in) box and 25 mm (0.98 in) lid; the drawing gives 220.00 mm (8.66 in) by 120.00 mm (4.72 in) by 90.50 mm (3.56 in). Inside, the drawing shows 210.49 mm (8.29 in) length, 110.59 mm (4.35 in) width and 80.60 mm (3.17 in) height, and PC boards up to 205 mm x 104.6 mm fit.

Molded from glass reinforced polyester with a smooth finish and heavy duty thick wall, the enclosure is C UL and UL listed under file #E65324, rated IP66 and certified to NEMA 4, 4X standards per UL 508A. Part attributes list NEMA 1, 4, 4X, 12 and 13 and UL94 V-0, and it has an IK09 impact rating in conformity with IEC62262. Recommended operating temperature is -40°C to +120°C (-40°F to +248°F).

Four self-captivated M6 - 1.0 x 30 mm stainless steel lid screws (8-9.5 lbf.in, 90-110 cN.m) seal the lid onto an EPDM sponge rubber gasket in two piece tongue and groove construction. Wall mounting holes are outside the gasket channel, and the internal shelf accepts M6x1 screws for the optional 1590ZGRP123PL panel. Included: box, lid, gasket and four cover screws. Shipping weight is 2.35 lbs (1.07 kg).
