The 1590Z180G is a pack of two pre-formed silicone replacement gaskets for the 1590Z180 family of 180 x 180 mm diecast aluminum enclosures (natural 1590Z180, black 1590Z180BK and gray 1590Z180GY). Maintenance teams and OEMs keep them on hand to restore the seal after a gasket has been damaged, compressed or removed during modification work.
In the 1590Z series the gasket is a replaceable one piece silicone rubber part that sits in the tongue and groove joint between box and lid, protecting against ingress of dust and water. It has a temperature rating of -40C to +150C (-40F to 302F). The part page lists the material as silicone in black, with an IP66 rating, and the drawing specifies a 1:1 blend of Shin-Etsu KE931U and KE941U silicone.
