The 1590Z140G is a pack of two replacement silicone gaskets for the 1590Z140 diecast aluminum enclosure family. Maintenance teams and OEM builders use it to restore the lid seal after servicing, or to keep spares on hand for enclosures that are opened frequently.
Each gasket is a pre-formed, one piece silicone part measuring 246 x 76 x 2 mm (9.7 x 2.98 x 0.09 in); the drawing gives 246.20 mm [9.69 in] by 75.60 mm [2.98 in] with a 3.00 x 2.40 mm profile section, under gasket drawing PFRG140. The gasket carries an IP66 rating attribute, and the 1590Z series gasket is rated from -40C to +150C (-40F to 302F).
It fits the natural 1590Z140, textured black 1590Z140BK and smooth gray 1590Z140GY enclosures, which use two piece tongue and groove construction with the gasket seated in the channel between box and lid. In the 1590Z series the gasket is replaceable and supplied loose, so fitting a new one is part of normal assembly.
